ABOUT US

Discovery Zone Child Development Center, an extension of Church on the Hill, is dedicated to impacting children's lives and supporting families in our community. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children
• Support children's growth in spiritual, cognitive, physical, and social/emotional domains
• Maintain training and certification requirements
• Use observations and assessments to create engaging and research-based learning environments
  
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Meet the experience and training qualification requirements according to Oregon's Rules for Certified Child Care Centers: 6 months full-time experience teaching in a classroom OR an Associate Degree in an early childhood-related field OR at least step 6 in the Oregon Registry OR a CDA credential.
