Preschool Program

During the preschool years, children grow rapidly in their skills and imagination. Play paves the way for future success as children explore language and math, build social and emotional skills, and practice real-world skills like problem solving. Our program engages children while they play to encourage independence and creativity and to prepare for Kindergarten.

We offer two years of preschool programs for children who have turned 3 before September 1st and for students who have turned 4 by September 1st.

  • Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills such as sequencing and matching, social skills in similarities and diversity, and language skills such as storytelling and process-writing.  Learning centers for math, creative art, science, imaginary play, and literacy are put in place to help promote each of these skills.

  • Pre-Kindergarteners gain skills to guide them toward their future academic success.  The learning goals of our program include kindergarten preparedness, social finesse and mastery of gross motor skills.  We believe that four-year-olds are becoming aware of themselves as learners and are beginning to develop strategies for expressing their ideas in both spoken and written forms.  Our teachers will provide various opportunities to master these skills.
