During our After-School program, your child will experience a comfortable, relaxing environment where they can learn to build confidence, self-esteem, character, and social skills.  They will be provided with homework support and fitness activities. We also intend to build their leadership and communication skills through various projects. Discovery Zone offers transportation from all McMinnville public elementary schools except Sue Buel. This program is available throughout the school year, including winter vacation and spring break.

Discovery Zone Summer Camp takes place every summer, beginning the Monday after the last day of public school and running for nine weeks. This program is for children entering first through sixth grade. Unlike our other programs, which offer the option to enroll for any two to five weekdays that fit your family’s schedule, our summer camp program is full-time only, but you may choose which weeks to attend. Children attend Monday through Friday each week. Our most current information and pricing for summer camp is typically available beginning in June of each year. During Summer Camp, your child will participate in field trips to various destinations like the Oregon Zoo, OMSI, and the Hatfield Marine Science Center, as well as local excursions to the library and parks. Our program keeps older children busy with group projects, free choice time, off-campus adventures, and plenty of time outdoors.
