Infant and toddler Program

Children undergo exponential physical, cognitive, and emotional growth during their first three years of life. This growth lays the groundwork for essential skills like language, motor abilities, and social connections. Our program focuses on building these skills through the children's natural first languages: exploration and play.

We offer three years of infant and toddler programs between the ages of 6 weeks and 3 years old.

  • Our infant program focuses on the individual needs of each child. Infants have a primary caregiver who cares for basic needs and responds to the infant’s interests throughout their day. Curriculum focuses on routine that includes play, quiet time, feeding time, nap time, interaction with other infants, bonding with their teacher, outdoor time, sensory play, language development, music, and other meaningful activities.

  • Our toddler classrooms are stimulating and inviting. Here, your toddler will find materials that will engage them in imaginative play, art experiences for creative exploration, and manipulatives to develop cognitive and physical skills. Our teachers introduce toddlers to emotions and try to validate their feelings as much as possible.  Teachers allow children to choose activities and respect their need for ample time to repeat activities and experiences – an essential skill for fostering competence. Our teachers also partner with you on potty-training in this group, mirroring what you do at home while encouraging independence and self-help skills.
